Edu Ex stands for Educative Experiment as the project created and tested an educational, speculative, object-oriented framework. The process took place during a 3-day workshop with a focus on different steps of futures & speculative design wherein students were speculating, conceptualizing and building objects. The theme of the workshops was founded on similarities between the climate crisis and covid crisis, to create a tangible space of comparison for students.

An exploration and learning experiment in the potentials of speculative design for solving a widespread crisis.

The project utilized pre-made insights gallery the result of various trends and signals associated with COVID-19 and Climate Change. Presented as an immersive experience of qualitative and quantitative data, it supported the participants during the speculative experiments.
